About

Site Reliability Engineer with a strong bias toward automation. When systems can be codified, measured, or scripted, they should be. Prefer infrastructure that explains itself through code over runbooks that explain what should have been code.

Most of my time outside of work goes toward homelab tinkering and self-hosting — running services on bare metal and VMs, experimenting with network segmentation, and generally treating the home network as a low-stakes production environment. It's the best way to learn what actually breaks.

Professionally focused on IaC and cloud automation — Terraform, Azure, AWS, and the pipelines that wire them together. Comfortable in Bash and Python for glue work, and have spent real time with SIEM tooling and WAF rule development on the security side.

Currently excited about AI developer enablement: the gap between what AI tooling can do and what most engineering workflows actually leverage is large. Narrowing that gap through better tooling, prompts, and processes is where a lot of interesting work lives right now.
